Preview: Seacrest Country Day Stingrays vs. Golden Gate Titans

The Seacrest Country Day Stingrays will stay at home for another game and welcome the Golden Gate Titans at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd.

Seacrest Country Day pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The matchup between Seacrest Country Day and Southwest Florida Christian wasn't particularly close, with Seacrest Country Day falling 75-56.

Meanwhile, Golden Gate strolled past Immokalee with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 49-34. The win made it back-to-back wins for Golden Gate.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Golden Gate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacquez Petithomme, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Petithomme has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Orville Salomon, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Seacrest Country Day bumped their record down to 3-17 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Golden Gate, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Seacrest Country Day couldn't quite finish off Golden Gate when the teams last played back in November of 2021 and fell 70-67. Will Seacrest Country Day have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
