The Overfelt Royals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. They took a 71-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Yerba Buena. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Brandon Tran continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Yerba Buena, scoring 39 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tran has scored all season. Jayden Tran was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Overfelt's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Yerba Buena, their victory bumped their record up to 4-18.
