The Pinellas Park Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their tenth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Boca Ciega, falling 76-30. While losing is never fun, Pinellas Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 718th, while the Pirates are ranked 266th).

Pinellas Park lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sayla Thach, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and two steals. Thach is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Javien Floyd was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.

It was another big night for Jordan Naylor, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals for Boca Ciega. Naylor hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Hunter Dyer, who scored 13 points.
