Sherwood has gone 9-1 against Newberg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bowmen will be playing at home against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Newberg will be up against a hot Sherwood team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Bowmen really took it to Liberty for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-14 win. The Bowmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 27 points or more this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Sherwood's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Isaac Bean and Levi Klostreich, who racked up five sacks between them. Bean also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

Meanwhile, Newberg unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 42-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glencoe.
