Basketball Recap: Castleberry Comes Up Short

Castleberry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Decatur Eagles, falling 86-6. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Castleberry's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Decatur, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castleberry will take on Eagle Mountain in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Decatur, they will venture away from home to challenge Krum at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Decatur's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
