Baseball Recap: Mishicot Has No Trouble Against Crivitz

Mishicot made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Crivitz, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 10-3 victory on Saturday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 10-1 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2021.

Nolan Sand was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 3-for-4. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Eli Skarda was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4.

The victory made it two in a row for Mishicot and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Crivitz, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Mishicot has already played their next contest, an 18-7 loss against Freedom on the 12th. As for Crivitz, they will be playing at home against Wausaukee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rangers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.75 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of.
