Soccer Recap: Rockford East Takes a Loss

Rockford East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Byron Tigers. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Rockford East couldn't quite close it out.

Rockford East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Byron, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Looking ahead, Rockford East will head out on the road to take on Boylan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Byron, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pecatonica at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
