The Penn Kingsmen will face off against the South Bend Riley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Penn is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
On Tuesday, Penn was able to grind out a solid win over South Bend Saint Joseph, taking the game 3-1.
Penn had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-23.

Penn relied on the efforts of Jacoby Forbes, who had seven kills and five blocks, and William Selis, who had 20 digs. Those five blocks gave Forbes a new career-high.
South Bend Riley had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's game, but Oscar Coronado didn't let it get to four. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over Elkhart on Tuesday with plenty of help from Coronado, who had 21 digs. Forbes is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last seven games he's played.

However, it's not like South Bend Riley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
