Resurrection Christian beats Byers for Class 2A state baseball title

The Cougars build a big lead early en route to the school's first baseball championship.

ENGLEWOOD — Resurrection Christian (Loveland) senior catcher Josh Mondt was bleeding from small cuts on his nose and arm Monday afternoon. He didn't mind.

"They're from the dogpile," he said with a smile. "We've been waiting to do that for four years. It's just incredible, the journey we've been on and what we've gone through."
