Basketball Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball and Spectrum squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kimball had to settle for second. They took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spectrum Sting. The loss continues a trend for the Cubs in their meetings with the Sting: they've now lost seven in a row.

Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Spectrum, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Kimball nor Spectrum have any future games scheduled.
