Hudson waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Union Knights with a sharp 10-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won three matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Hudson's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Union, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Hudson will face off against Wapsie Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pirates 3.3, the Warriors 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Union, they will take on Jesup at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
