Abingdon/Avon won the last time they faced Havana and things went their way on Friday too. The Tornadoes managed a 31-26 win over the Ducks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tornadoes.

Carter Brooks and Jack Turner certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Brooks picked up 191 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Turner threw for 251 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes. Brooks' longest reception was for an incredible 74 yards. Cayden Green handled things on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.

Abingdon/Avon's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Havana, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abingdon/Avon will face off against Rushville-Industry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Havana, they will take on Astoria/VIT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ducks will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.29 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
