Baseball Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Wonderful College Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Granite Hills Grizzlies. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Sebastian Ruiz was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. James Ramirez also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Granite Hills, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Wonderful College Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Orange Cove at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Granite Hills, they will take on Orosi at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
