The Chiles Timberwolves will face off against the Impact Christian Academy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chiles is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.2 points per game this season.

Chiles is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Godby just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 35-17 to the Cougars. Despite 110 more yards than the Cougars, the Timberwolves couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Loss or not, Chiles got some senior leadership from Gerald Clark and Jeremiah Cadet. Clark rushed for 136 yards and one TD, while Cadet rushed for 115 yards on only 13 carries. Thomas Matthews got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 11 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Matthews, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Even if they lost, Chiles' defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Impact Christian Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 42-16 to University Christian. The Lions' defeat didn't just snap their winning streak: it also ended the team's undefeated season.

Chiles' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Impact Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
