John Jay won the last time they faced Arlington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots walked away with a 5-1 win over the Admirals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Evan Gottschalk spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits.

On the hitting side, John Jay saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Knapp, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

John Jay's record is now 4-2. As for Arlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Coincidentally, John Jay and Arlington will both be playing Ketcham the next time they take the field. The Admirals will head out to face the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
