Halifax Academy's win came from a few key players Fayetteville Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Carolina Corum, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Payton Odom, who had eight points along with 14 boards and three steals.

Halifax Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.
