Basketball Recap: Naples Classical Comes Up Short

Naples Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 54-47 to The Village School of Naples Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-10 back in December of 2025.

It was another big night for Zachary Felix, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 17 rebounds for The Village School of Naples. Those 27 points gave Felix a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Asaiah Lubin, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Naples Classical's record now sits at 1-17. As for The Village School of Naples, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat Naples Classical by a score of 82-28 on Monday.
