Softball Game Preview: Desert Christian Knights vs. Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars

For the first time this season, Desert Christian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They are taking a road trip to challenge the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars at 2:30 p.m. Desert Christian has given up an average of 16.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Desert Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 29-19 margin over Lucerne Valley on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 27 runs the game before, Palmdale Academy Charter School was a bit more limited in their contest two weeks ago. They lost 12-1 to Desert.

Palmdale Academy Charter School now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Desert Christian, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-8.

Everything went Desert Christian's way against Palmdale Academy Charter School in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Desert Christian made off with a 19-3 win.
