Bloom-Carroll is 9-1 against Fairfield Union since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will host the Falcons at 5:15 p.m. Bloom-Carroll is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Bloom-Carroll is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Circleville on Monday as they made off with an 18-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Maddi Walters made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted over her last six contests.
In other batting news, Bloom-Carroll got a massive performance out of Jaiden Sharrow, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave Sharrow a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Gates, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Bloom-Carroll was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .576. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .306 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Fairfield Union fell victim to Liberty Union and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 19-0 to the Lions. The Falcons have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Bloom-Carroll's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Fairfield Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
Bloom-Carroll took their victory against Fairfield Union in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-7 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
