Cardinal Newman and Windsor are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2017, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinal Newman take on the Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardinal Newman will be strutting in after a victory while Windsor will be coming in after a defeat.

Windsor better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Cardinal Newman really get things going. Cardinal Newman's defense stepped up to hand Maria Carrillo a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. The result kept the Cardinals happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 17th.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Windsor was not quite Ukiah's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2.

Jonathan Estrada and Yahir Trejo scored both of Windsor's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Cardinal Newman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those six matchups. As for Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5-2.

Cardinal Newman beat Windsor 3-1 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Does Cardinal Newman have another victory up their sleeve, or will Windsor turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
