The Sarasota Christian Blazers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They lost to Cambridge Christian at home by a decisive 39-24 margin. Sarasota Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Despite the loss, Sarasota Christian still got an impressive performance from Alivia Fullerton, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Sarasota Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Cambridge Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Sarasota Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Thunder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cambridge Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Santa Fe Catholic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
