Basketball Recap: Skylar Greenhaw Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights Win

Henryetta hadn't done well against Kellyville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Henryetta Knights walked away with a 65-56 win over the Kellyville Ponies. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 66-44 victory the Ponies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Henryetta's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Skylar Greenhaw, who posted 25 points. Greenhaw's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Talon Weaver, who earned 20 points.

Henryetta has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Kellyville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Henryetta has already played their next contest, a 56-30 win against Okemah on the 9th. As for Kellyville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-35 victory against Yale on the 8th.
