Basketball Recap: Penney Takes a Loss

Penney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 36-19 to the Maysville Wolverines. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Penney's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Maysville, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-9 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penney will face off against Brookfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Maysville, they will challenge North Platte at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
