Soccer Recap: Potomac Senior Comes Up Short

Potomac Senior was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-0 to the Charles J. Colgan Sharks. While losing is never fun, Potomac Senior can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Charles J. Colgan are ranked 16th).

Potomac Senior's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Charles J. Colgan, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Potomac Senior and Charles J. Colgan will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Panthers see the pitch they'll take on Gar-Field at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Charles J. Colgan, their break will end when they face Hylton at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
