Baseball Recap: Dawson-Bryant Comes Up Short

Dawson-Bryant lost to Gallia Academy back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets lost 8-2 to the Blue Devils.

Kaden Murphy was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Dawson-Bryant has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Gallia Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dawson-Bryant will head out to take on South Point at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gallia Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Meigs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
