Softball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

Elgin lost against North Union back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Elgin came up short against North Union, falling 9-3.

Elgin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Hill, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Union, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

While Elgin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
