Soccer Game Preview: Enterprise vs. Opelika

The Enterprise Wildcats will challenge the Opelika Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Enterprise will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Enterprise took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against St. Michael Catholic, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 5-4. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Enterprise were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Opelika didn't have quite enough to beat Smiths Station on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Opelika's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Enterprise, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Enterprise got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Opelika by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
