Softball Recap: Edison Extends Winning Streak to Three

Edison had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Franklin Yellowjackets as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Vikings have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Leila Tatupu, who went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Angeleya Miranda, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Edison's record is now 11-14. As for Franklin, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

As of now, neither Edison nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
