While Sehome's victory against Blaine wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mariners skirted past the Borderites 2-1. The win continues a trend for Sehome in their matchups with Blaine: they've now won eight in a row.

Sehome pushed their record up to 12-0-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matchups. As for Blaine, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sehome will face off against rival Nooksack Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Blaine is set to challenge their familiar foe Ferndale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
