Softball Preview: Midland Trail Patriots vs. Sherman Tide

Midland Trail is 0-5 against Sherman since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Tide at 5:30 p.m. Midland Trail is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Sherman will be up against a hot Midland Trail squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Patriots put the hurt on James Monroe with a sharp 11-5 win on Friday. Considering the Patriots have won five games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Madison Rader made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.
