Soccer Recap: Harlingen Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Harlingen was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell just short of the Rivera Raiders by a score of 1-0. The Cardinals have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Harlingen fell to 2-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Harlingen take on the Edinburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rivera, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Harlingen South at 5:30 p.m. on January 10th.
