Hillsboro had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 70-20 blowout they got against the Adena Warriors. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-13.

Hillsboro's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Adena, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will head out to take on Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillsboro has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 226 points over their last three games. As for Adena, they will take on Huntington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Adena is facing Huntington at the right time seeing as Huntington is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
