Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was the 11-3 winner over Orr when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Rough Riders fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Rough Riders have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Roosevelt and nudges their season record down to 4-7. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Orr, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Roosevelt will face off against rival Clark at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Orr is set to take on their familiar foe Wells at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
