Recap: Friendship Christian Commanders vs. Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles
On Friday, The Friendship Christian Commanders got themselves on the board against the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles, but the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 41-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Friendship Christian, who have now won six matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Tyson Wolcott had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 272 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 28 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Wolcott is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last nine games he's played.
Friendship Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Friendship Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Middle Tennessee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Middle Tennessee Christian will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
