Football Recap: Lebanon Cedars vs. Ephrata Mountaineers

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-6 loss at the hands of the Ephrata Mountaineers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cedars of the 51-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Ephrata had a senior duo take command as Brayden Brown rushed for 77 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries and Caleb Grant threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Ephrata, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon will take on Cedar Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ephrata, they will challenge Governor Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ephrata will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
