After a string of seven wins, Flintridge Sacred Heart's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets by a score of 1-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Tologs were not able to get on the board.

Their offense was headlined by Annabel Soter and Peyton Recinos, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Ana Wertheimer and her five assists. Recinos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Isabella Valdez, who had nine assists and five digs.

Flintridge Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Flintridge Sacred Heart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Burbank on the 18th. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Immaculate Heart on the 19th.
