Soccer Game Preview: Brewster Academy National vs. Proctor Academy

The Brewster Academy National Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Proctor Academy Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Proctor Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brewster Academy National, who comes in off a win.

Brewster Academy National's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Cushing Academy by a score of 2-0. While Brewster Academy National didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-16-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Proctor Academy didn't have quite enough to beat New Hampton School on Wednesday and fell 3-2. Proctor Academy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Brewster Academy National is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven contests. As for Proctor Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2.

Everything went Brewster Academy National's way against Proctor Academy in their previous matchup back in September, as Brewster Academy National made off with a 6-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
