Basketball Recap: Great Falls Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Great Falls Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 70-12 loss at the hands of Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine. The Mustangs were probably out for revenge after losing 61-21 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Great Falls Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Great Falls Central Catholic will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Belt at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Belt's defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so Great Falls Central Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them. Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
