Soccer Recap: Hopkins Takes a Loss

The Hopkins Royals didn't have quite enough to beat the New Prague Trojans on Thursday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Hopkins have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Hopkins and nudges their season record down to 2-7-2. As for New Prague, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-6-2 record.

Coming up, Hopkins will square off against Maple Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Prague, they will take on Chanhassen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
