Basketball Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-14 loss at the hands of the Midfield Patriots. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Midfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malachi Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards. Robinson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Aaron Adams-Martin was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 20 points.

Altamont's record now sits at 1-18. As for Midfield, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5.

Altamont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-50 defeat against Southeastern on the 24th. As for Midfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 83-41 victory against Comer on the 25th.
