Softball Recap: Baraga Comes Up Short

Baraga fell victim to Bessemer and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Speedboys.

Baraga's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bessemer, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baraga will take on L'Anse at 1:00 p.m. on the 28th. The Purple Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.83 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bessemer, they will face off against Norway at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
