Football Game Preview: Chippewa Hills Warriors vs. Tri County Area Vikings

The Chippewa Hills Warriors will face off against the Tri County Area Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chippewa Hills has given up an average of 31.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chippewa Hills is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 34 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Big Rapids on Friday. They were dealt a 56-0 defeat at the hands of the Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Cardinals are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, Tri County Area came up short against Reed City on Friday, falling 58-33.

Tri County Area's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Chippewa Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Chippewa Hills came up short against Tri County Area when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 34-28. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
