Basketball Game Preview: Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees vs. DeSales Colts

Bethlehem has won three straight games at home, while DeSales has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees will host the DeSales Colts at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Bethlehem earned a 78-71 win over W.E.B. DuBois Academy. That's two games straight that the Eagles/Banshees have won by exactly seven points.

Meanwhile, DeSales made easy work of Iroquois on Saturday and carried off a 62-38 victory. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Bethlehem has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for DeSales, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.

Bethlehem was dealt a bruising 86-37 loss at the hands of DeSales when the teams last played back in January of 2021. Can Bethlehem avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
