Softball Recap: San Gabriel Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain View, San Gabriel was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 20-10 margin over the Hoover Tornados. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Matadors' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

San Gabriel's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, San Gabriel will take on Temple City at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hoover, they will welcome Frazier Mountain at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hoover is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.2 runs per game this season.
