Football Game Preview: Mourning vs. Mater Academy Charter

After two weeks on the road, Mater Academy Charter is heading back home. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Mourning at 7:30 PM on Friday. Mater Academy Charter have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

After a dominant victory in their matchup three weeks ago, Mater Academy Charter were humbled two weeks ago. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 21-42 walloping at Doral Academy's hands.

As for Mourning, after low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, they brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They came out on top against Reagan by a score of 54-47 last Friday. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.

Mater Academy Charter took their match against Mourning the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 42-12 score. Will Mater Academy Charter repeat their success, or does Mourning have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
