Soccer Recap: The Colony Comes Up Short

The Colony managed to keep up with Highland Park until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Colony Cougars lost 3-0 to the Highland Park Scots. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Highland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

The Colony will square off against Creekview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland Park, they will host Newman Smith at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
