Basketball Recap: Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Piles Up the Points Against Oregon School for the Deaf/Willamette Valley Christian

Phoenix Day School for the Deaf hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Oregon School for the Deaf/Willamette Valley Christian Panthers 43-8.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Phoenix Day School for the Deaf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joseph Trent, who posted eight points along with 16 rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals Trent has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Franchesco Yesuf, who went 6 of 11 en route to 19 points and four steals.

Phoenix Day School for the Deaf smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Phoenix Day School for the Deaf's record is now 5-14.
