Baseball Recap: Exeter Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Exeter's offense. They came up short against the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers on Thursday, falling 22-0. The loss continues a trend for the Monarchs in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost three in a row.

Exeter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jett Johnston, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Exeter's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8-1. As for Central Valley Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Exeter will head out to challenge Immanuel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Valley Christian, they will host Kingsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
