Volleyball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against St. Helena College and Career Academy on Tuesday, Springfield came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Springfield will head out to face off against Independence at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will challenge East Ascension at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
