League recap: Hatcher dominating on the mound for Lunenburg Central

Blake Hatcher was the best pitcher in A James River this week. He accumulated one win and 12 strikeouts.

Hatcher was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .444 average, three home runs and eight RBIs. Lunenburg Central compiled a record of 1-0 in that time.

Goochland's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 15 hits and one walks, both of which led the league. On the season, the Bulldogs have allowed just 108 hits, while striking out 139 batters. Austin Goyne leads the Bulldogs with 64 strikeouts in 41 innings.

The week's strikeout crown belonged to Michael Warren, who turned in 12 Ks for the Chargers. With 52 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.

His five home runs on the season place him at first in the league.
